At the heart of all that we do is the prayer room. It is the place where we connect with God and where our partnership with him becomes translated into action.

We use different styles for prayer meetings which are all based on the Harp and Bowl model; these different expressions are intercession, worship with the word and devotional.

Our main emphasis is on corporate prayer, which involves a different dynamic to individual or personal prayer. There are things that can be achieved when we come together that go beyond the boundaries of individual prayer - as Mike Bickle says, "We go further together". Jesus presences himself in a different way when we gather together in his name (Matt 18:20). In the Western church we tend to think in a Greek way, centering on the individual. However, we need to go back to our Hebrew roots and begin to think with a Hebraic mindset where our identity in God is corporate: when Jesus taught his disciples to pray he used the plural "Our Father", not "My Father". There are many instances where we need to detach from the Greek way of thinking and approach our relationship with God with a Hebrew mindset.

A more detailed explanation of how we pray can be found using the links on the right hand side of this page.

"I desire that in every place men should pray, lifting up holy hands..."
